Energy Management

Energy Management is the efficient and effective use of energy to minimize costs and enhance competitive positions.  The Energy Management Program has recruited top experts in their respective fields to serve as adjunct faculty.  Student's will gain an understanding of the energy systems in residential, commercial and industrial built environments and processes.  The training focuses on identifying and implementing energy efficiency measures as well as leadership through sustainable practices.

Associate of Applied Science in Energy Management - 2-year degree offered in an accelerated format.

Bachelor Degree - SLCC University Partnerships allows for the online completion of a Bachelor of Applied Science in Energy Management at Bismarck State College.

Flexible Offerings - Courses in the 2-year program may be taken individually or in subject groupings as either credit or non-credit continuing education courses.  Many courses are DOPL-approved for CEUs.

  • Commercial Green Lighting (4 Cr.)
  • Energy Accounting & Investment Analysis (4 Cr.)
  • Energy Modeling & Controls (9 Cr.)
  • Solar Photovoltaic Systems (9 Cr.)
