Genealogy
The Genealogy program offers a unique opportunity to learn the proper use of genealogical records and sources through practical hands-on research experiences. Prepare to become accredited/certified in genealogical research and develop skills valuable in many career paths. All courses are available online.
Courses offered credit (GEN) or non-credit (CEGN). SLCC offers study tracks focused on International or U.S. genealogical research. Six classes, for a total of 18 credit hours, are required to complete the program and earn a certificate. To request a certificate, complete and submit the certificate application.
