What will I get from the Energy-Efficient Lighting Certificate?

Training highlights lighting fundamentals, audits, retrofitting, cost saving analysis, and interactions on other building components. 

Instruction incorporates both classroom lectures and hands-on activities outside of the classroom. 

What is the cost?

The cost of the certificate will depend on whether the student is taking the courses for credit or non-credit. For credit, the certificate total is $616 for both courses. Non-credit, each course will cost $328. For more information refer to the 2014-2015 Tuition & Fees Schedule.

How long does it take to complete the Energy-Efficient Lighting Certificate?

The courses are offered at different times. EGMT 1310 Lighting Fundamentals from January 7 - March 11, 2015. EGMT 1320 Lighting Applications from March 18 - May 20, 2015.

When do I receive my Energy-Efficient Lighting Certificate?

Once completed both courses, students are responsible for requesting their certificate through our "Certificate Request Form" from the Energy-Efficient Lighting Homepage. Applications will be evaluated to comfirm eligibility of completion.
