GEN 1151

Preparing for Certified Genealogist®
This course will help prepare students for the application process to become a Certified Genealogist® by walking students through each requirement of the Board for Certification of Genealogists® (BCG) portfolio. This course provides students with practice assignments that correlate to BCG requirements, so students will feel confident when they prepare and submit their BCG portfolio. A passing grade in this course, however, in no way guarantees that a student's portfolio submission to BCG will result in approval.
