When are classes held?

Meter Apprenticeship classes start at the beginning of the SLCC Semester (Late August for Fall, second week of January for Spring). The classes are a blend of online learning and in-person labs. Labs are typically held on the Miller Campus in Sandy, UT. You will need to see your instructor or check online for actual lab dates/times.

What books do I need for class?

Meter Apprenticeship students will be required to purchase Delmar's Standard Textbook of Electricity (DSTE), 5th Edition which can be purchased here.

How do I register for classes?

To register for classes, download and complete the registration form and submit your registration packet by:

What is the Drop/Withdrawal/Refund/Registration Policy?

 

 

DROPS/WITHDRAWALS/REFUNDS/REGISTRATION POLICIES

If a student decides not to remain enrolled in a class, it is the student’s responsibility to contact the Program Coordinator to drop or withdraw from the class. Failure to officially drop classes not attended will result in failing grades and forfeiture of tuition due the College. Failure to officially drop may lead to enforcement of the college collection policy

Students are required to pay for all classes that they do not officially drop.

Full tuition will be refunded if student drops before the first day of class.

Tuition will not be refunded if student is a “no show” for entire class.

Last Date to Add Classes, Tuition Due Date will follow the Institutional Academic Calendar for the appropriate semester as Full Term 16-week schedule.
