Therapeutic Recreation Technician

This is a 90-hour course covered over a period of 10 weeks. It is an introduction to the field of Therapeutic Recreation and provides a foundation for students wishing to obtain their Therapeutic Recreation Technician (TRT) license. Students explore various approaches to programming for populations of all ages, with a disability, disorder, or illness. The course prepares students to take the state Therapeutic Recreational Technician Exam, which is required to work in the field.
