Why should I become a Notary Public? Millions of Americans serve as Notaries Public to protect consumers from fraud and identity theft. The demand is high as notaries serve businesses, industries and private individuals. The ratio of notaries to citizens is 1 in 72 people in the US.
Notaries witness and authenticate the signing of our most important documents and transactions, such as new mortgages, powers of attorney, contracts, adoption papers, advance medical directives and other transactions in our everyday lives. It’s a great way to earn a little extra income or improve your resume and career.
A Utah Notary Public Training Workshop taught by an instructor is offered once per month year round from Noon to 4:00 pm. (Please click on "view sections" to see the schedule.)
